He just put on a weighty necklace of kryptonite and took one for the team. Why? Because that is what it is going to take to save RVA during this Mayoral election. This mere mortal just elevated to superhero stature in our book. This is all because Jon Baliles just withdrew from the Mayoral race in an attempt to prevent RVA from ending up with the cockroach that is Joe Morrissey as Mayor. You see, there are too many candidates splitting the vote in this Mayoral election. The numerous candidates split the field and were giving the laughingstock charlatan and disbarred criminal (otherwise known as Joe Morrissey) a legitimate chance to win. So the logical question is: will Jack Berry or Levar Stoney drop out next? Are either going to put RVA first by stepping aside so we don’t end up with a disbarred criminal as the head of RVA? If either do, they will elevate themselves to superhero status as a result. Dear Jack and Levar, Jon Baliles showed his love for the City. Will you? We are all waiting. Step up please-your pedestal awaits.

It sounds like y’all want Morrissey to be mayor, if you are asking for Jack Berry to step down. He is the only one who has a shot at beating Morrissey. Reply
They’re asking one of the two of them to step down because there is a *very* good chance of Morrissey winning if they both stay in. Reply
This is simply misleading. Stoney is doing better in the districts that Morrissey could actually lose. Reply
Although Berry has the popular vote all of the independent polls that I have seen indicate that Stoney has a better chance at winning as he is 2nd in more districts. I’m worried that the confusion on this point will further divide the votes and we’ll still end up with Morrissey. I think Berry should drop out, but his big money financial backers make that an unlikely scenario. Reply
