Time to Take A Dam Walk! News by Michael C. Hild - November 30, 2016November 30, 2016145 After numerous delays, the T-Pot bridge, or Dam Walk, will open this Friday! The Mayor’s office announced the opening of the much anticipated bridge and it will be available for use this weekend. According to the City: “The City of Richmond announced today that it will officially open the T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge (TTPMB) on Friday, December 2, in conjunction with the annual downtown Grand Illumination festivities that are planned.” We have covered the construction of the bridge with numerous posts over the past year. We couldn’t be happier that a walking link is finally in place to connect both sides of the river! So go out and take a Dam Walk to work off that turkey and stuffing this weekend!
