Hull Street: Mechanics and Merchants Bank History News by Michael C. Hild - December 30, 2015January 28, 20163 The photo above of the Mechanics and Merchants Bank at 12th & Hull Streets is from The Valentine’s Cook Photograph Collection and is labeled 1910-1930. Unfortunately, the roof collapsed on the building and was in terrible shape during the early 2000s. Luckily the building was saved and fully renovated in 2005 except for the detailed Portico which was lost. The building currently operates as The Bankuet Place, which is an event venue space available for rent for weddings and parties. Inquiries for bookings can be made at The Bankuet Place website.
