Twisted Ales Craft Brewing Grand Opening on June 17th News by Michael C. Hild - June 8, 201719 According to their Facebook page event listing, Twisted Ales Craft Brewing has scheduled their grand opening for June 17th from 12-11PM. The new craft brewery will be located in Manchester’s Aragon Coffee Co. building at 212 W. Sixth St. If you are unfamiliar with the area, it is the old Blue Bee Cider location. Stop by and welcome them to the neighborhood!
I read somewhere that some old graffiti was noticed in the building that read “Single Bullet Theory”,this building was used as band rehearsal space back in the mid to late 70’s for a lot of local.bands,and Single Bullet Theory was one of the popular southern rock bands that opens up for such touring bands as Molly Hatchet,Atlantic Rhythm Section (ARS),The Greg Allman Band,Blackfoot,The Marshall Tucker Band,Blackfoot,The Outlaws,Charlie Daniels Band,POCO,Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, 38 SO Special,Lynard Skynard and any other touring southern rock band that came thru RVA in their heyday. Single Bullet Theory was a Richmond favorite who enjoyed a lot of airplay on Richmond radio in the late 70’s,and cheerleader their own music to rave reviews. Not sure if any of the band members are still in the area,but I just wanted to shed some light on that graffiti tag…”Single Bullet Theory”!. Reply
