Slow But Steady Progress on Hull Street!

You know when you start excavating dirt at one of your building renovations and find hundreds of 100 year old oyster shells, you are on to something good!

1213 Hull Street is the furthest along of all the projects and it is slated to hold 4 apartments and a commercial food service space on the ground floor. The commercial shell and apartments should be complete in August. Buildout of the commercial food service space will begin in August. A business to be announced soon is slated to move into the commercial space as soon as construction is complete.

1204/1206 Hull St will hold 10 apartments and will also hold commercial food service space, including an outdoor patio and parking lot. The commercial shell and apartments will be complete in October. Buildout of the commercial food service space and outdoor patio will begin in October. Similar to 1213 Hull St, a business to be announced soon is scheduled to move into the commercial space as soon as construction is complete.

1209 Hull Street will hold 12 apartments and will include commercial food service space on the first floor and rooftop deck, along with a parking lot. It is planned for completion in December. A business is slated to move in once both construction and licenses are issued. Construction has taken longer on this particular building because of the amount of shoring and structural reinforcement for the new rooftop deck addition that must meet City of Richmond code, while simultaneously meeting Virginia’s Department of Historic Resources/National Park Service requirements. We think it is going to be worth the wait however!

Stay tuned…announcements should be made soon.
