Dogtown Brewing Patio Views Coming to Hull Street

Dogtown Brewing Co will bring brews, views, and dim sum carts to Hull Street!

As announced at the Hard Hat Happy Hour Tour in Manchester last week and covered today by Richmond BizSense, Dogtown Brewing will offer a multi-story beer hall with a full service restaurant. The first floor brewpub component of the brewery will be located in the old Thalhimer’s department store and will feature live music. A two-story brewhouse will be located in the rear addition of the main building. The brewhouse is designed to enable the brewery to offer 20 different beers all made on site, and a canning line for those who want beers to go. Many of the beers will be piped straight from tank to tap in order to avoid the need for kegs, similar to how many brewpubs operate in Europe.

The rooftop deck located on the fourth floor atop the building will offer 360 degree views including that of downtown Richmond. The rooftop will feature beer and wine on tap, a limited bar menu for food, and dim sum carts for featured items. Including construction of the 12 apartments on the second and third floors of the building along with a new parking lot for guests, the project is expected to cost $5.5 Million and will bring 125 new jobs to Hull Street. Opening is expected late in 2018 to early 2019. You can track progress of the project by following Dogtown Brewing’s Facebook Page.
