New Home for The Butterbean Market & Cafe Finishes Apartment Construction News by Michael C. Hild - December 28, 20172 The construction for the new Dogtown Apartments located in the same building as the soon to open Butterbean Market & Cafe at 1204-1206 Hull Street is officially complete. Originally built in 1892, this historical building was once the A. A. Adkins & Co. Furniture store. More recently the building was home to August Moon (aka Mr. Wiggles) and his Urban Beat Entertainment recording studio until falling vacant. The renovation of the building as an adaptive reuse includes ten market rate one bedroom apartments. Apartments are currently being shown to prospective tenants, but some units have already pre-leased in anticipation of the completion of construction. The commercial construction for The Butterbean Market & Cafe is now underway. The Butterbean will include an urban grocery/market and cafe including a spacious outdoor patio to be located at 1200/1202 Hull Street.
