Mayor Stoney Grabs A Shovel for Pothole Palooza News by Michael C. Hild - January 20, 201771 It looks like Mayor Stoney got the message during his campaign-Manchester is littered with potholes. But have no fear. According to the Mayor’s recent tweets, the Department of Public Works just held a Pothole Palooza in Manchester. According to the Mayor: “Our DPW crews have repaired 994 potholes citywide using 53 tons of asphalt.” That’s a great start if you ask me. Let’s hope the momentum continues! It’s pothole fixing time in Manchester. Our DPW crews have repaired 994 potholes citywide using 53 tons of asphalt. #1RVA — Levar M. That’s great but when can we get our allies resurfaced? I have had a request in since 2013! Thinking of stocking some of the holes with trout this summer. Reply
